Hey - why not play in a sandbox while you're at the Nebraska State Fair? Nebraska's Resources Districts (NRDs) will have a Stream Table (Sandbox) set up for you to enjoy playing in the sand while learning what makes water move in a watershed. move sand to make stream flow, energy, and different types of river systems. Find us at the Gazebo in the Family Fun Zone at the Groundwater Guardians' Outdoor Learning Area (see map) weekdays from 9:00am - 5:00pm at the State Fair August 24- September 3! Natural Resources Technician Position

The Niobrara River Basin Alliance will hold a Regular Board Meeting, at 1:00 p.m. CST on Wednesday August 22, 2018 at the Middle Niobrara NRD, 303 East Highway 20, Valentine, NE.  An agenda of the matters to be considered at such date, time, and place is kept continually current, and is available for public inspection during normal business hours at the Upper Niobrara White Natural Resources District, 430 E 2nd Street, Chadron, Nebraska.  Persons who require auxiliary aids or special accommodations to attend or participate in the hearing should contact Patrick O’Brien at 308-432-6190 to make the necessary arrangements.
